Hubby and I walked the midway -- it's just fun to see all the sights!
OK - so I've seen Farris Wheel photos on two or three other blogs. Apparently they are 'the' thing to photograph at the fair!

We were just being silly and having fun, so hubby tried on this 'cool' pair of shades. Not his color, I'd say!

Ah... the fair food! What could be better than pork butt on a stick?

OMG, beautiful pictures! I love how you make all the colors pop--certainly a skill I have not mastered.

Thanks Lori! The secret is taking a ton of photos! I probably took 50 - 100, over the course of those 3 visits. I'm only showing you the best of those! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day in deed.
ReplyDeleteI love your fun shots
I wish I could nom, nom, nom that pork!
ReplyDeleteGosh I miss the fair! Used to go every year, Memphis has a big one. I live in a small town now and it's a long drive to the fair. Thanks for the memory.

ReplyDeletebtw, did you try it? It doesn't look bad.

@Pamela - Glad I could take you back!
@Dave - lol! Stick food indeed! Oh yes! I ate every bit of the pork on a stick! That's the one thing I get every year. Some may like their funnel cakes, give me some pork!
@Jolly Mom, It was a blast! Just watching people was so much fun! Maybe you'll get there next year. (Enter something... it makes it much less expensive!)
@Maggie - Thanks for stopping by!
Pork Butt on a Stick? Can I try this on our menu for weddings? hehehe
